During the slow and rugged Christmas Break of 2017, Autumn Carson and myself decided it was time for a change. We wanted to do something different, bold, and productive. Weeks prior, we had talked about the lack of black body products in the market. So, we decided to create our own body butter and scrub line, and Goddess Goods Chicago came to be.

At first, we weren't so sure about the name. However, after saying it so many times, it kind of had a ring to it, and it was also a great pun -- God is good, Goddess Goods. Get it? From there, we moved quick, with a 3 month turn around, opening shop with the tag line, "Be Golden, Be Goddess."

 

Since opening, we've had 100+ online sales, 200+ in person sales, and a host of supporters. We've also participated in various school events, conferences, and festivals. While we still have more things to learn, our trial run was epic -- more than we could ever imagine.

Currently, our shop is under construction. We are working on a re-launch featuring a new website, new scents, and more. In the meantime, check out our gallery below.
